Night of Wednesday September 2nd, 2019
This was one of the most vivid dreams I have had in a while, although I do not remember it all. It seemed to all fit together in a believable narrative and everything made sense. When I woke up, the dream had the quality of a memory, though I knew it could not be due to the fantastic details of the dream. I took a nap around noon the day after I had the dream and I was trying to remember the dream before I fell asleep. Then I had what seemed to be a continuation of the dream during the nap.
I do not remember there beginning of the dream. Of the first scene I remember, I only recall a few details. I was with a few other people and we were walking through a place that seemed similar to a mall. There was no roof but a bunch of buildings or rooms along a straight avenue. There was a lot of white and black; the walkways and benches and some of the walls were perfectly white and the doorways and other openings were perfectly black. I believe everyone around wore only black clothing. Indeed, I do not remember any other colors except for the blue sky. It was very bright and I do not remember any clouds. I do not remember what we were doing.
After a while we encountered the antagonists of the dream. I do not know who they were or what they wanted. They too wore all black, suits I think. The whole dream seemed similar to the Matrix at parts. I actually believe some of the antagonists wore earpieces like the agents in the Matrix.
Some time after our encounter with the enemy, I found myself in some bedroom. I do not know how I got there. There was one bed, a TV stand with a TV opposite the bed, a single window to the side of the bed and TV and a bathroom. I am not actually sure about the bathroom; I vaguely remember there being one but I have no memory of seeing it. There was no door. At some point, possibly immediately after appearing in the room, I realized the purpose of the room. Apparently I was being imprisoned in the room by the enemy. Also, I knew (I do not know how) that in the room were also hundreds to thousands of larvae that would someday grow into parasites that at least one of which would eventually infect me, at which point I would be practically brain dead. I would lose my ability to think for myself and my body would basically be a puppet for the enemy. I would be practically dead. This knowledge understandably saddened me but I could find no means to escape that outcome.
After my appearance in the room, the dream switched back and forth a number of times between me being with the people outside, running from the enemy, and the room. I do not know how I made these transits. As I said, there was no door to the room and how could I be simultaneously imprisoned by the enemy and running from them? These facts and others led me to believe that I was not actually leaving the room but that I was doing some sort of projection or something. Whether it was voluntary or involuntary I do not know. It may also have been something similar to the Matrix again where I was somehow entering a virtual world. I also think that the switch happened while I was asleep in the room.
One time when I was in the room, I was watching the television. There was some program on that may have been about nature. They depicted various creatures in the ocean. Each creature was eventually killed and eaten by a bigger creature. Eventually the creatures became obscenely large. The narrator was saying that there is always something bigger, a line stolen from Star Wars. They were also either implying or outright stating that animals are brutal, murderous and evil. I remember thinking that that was a ludicrous conclusion as animals are just trying to survive.
Eventually the larvae grew to a point where I could see them. They were small and fat, about the size of a peppercorn. They were a pale orange. They moved around like maggots on the bed. Some time after that in the outside world, there was an instance were one of my allies pushed someone of a ledge. Before the person hit the ground, a number of people (the enemy) came out from the shadows and caught him. For some reason, as I recalled this event while I was in the room, I regarded my ally’s actions as suspicious and was led to believe that he may be working for the enemy. For some reason, the other allies present and myself were alarmed that he would push the person to his death but after the person was saved we assumed (I have know idea why) that he knew that they were there and would save him. I wondered how he knew that the enemy was down there and would catch him. This all does not make sense to me now, though. If the person he pushed was an enemy, why would we care if he died? And if he was not an enemy but an ally, why would we not still be concerned that he pushed him? Was he not then in the hands of the enemy? I do, however, remember seeing him with an earpiece in that scene.
In the last scene I remember in the room (I believe it to actually be my last time there in the dream), the larvae had grown to the point where I believed them to be capable of infecting me. They look like little scorpions. They were everywhere. I remember standing on my toes on the bed moving around trying to avoid them. I eventually jumped off the bed but I had the same difficulties avoiding them as they were all over the floor as well. I eventually stopped worrying and accepted that I was going to die.
The next thing I remember is being outside again. I was alone walking somewhere when Rob Malkin found me. He is my manager’s manager in real life. He was the only person in the dream who did not wear all black. He wore a light grey t-shirt and blue jeans, typical attire for him in reality. For some reason I was incredibly relieved to see him, as if I thought he was going to save me from this predicament. He started to lead me somewhere and I followed without question. We went into a room with dark walls. My relief left when he told me “You’ve made this so much easier for us. Now we have you where we want you.” Mirrors appeared on the walls of the room. I quickly decided to catch Rob and stay close to him. I believe I thought if I knew where he was, I could follow him out of the room. I assumed once I lost sight of him I would be lost in the mirror house. I started running towards him and almost caught him. When he saw me coming he looked incredibly frightened and turned and ran towards the door at the other end of the room. He made it through before I got to him and when I went through the door, he was gone. I walked through the rooms trying to find an exit. There were at least three rooms in a line. There may have been rooms to the sides but I only went straight. At the end of the last room, there was no door. I looked to my left and saw the exit. I checked the wall and as I assumed, it was just the reflection of the exit. I looked on the other wall and found nothing. I then noticed there was a table in the middle of the room. They had mirrors pointing towards the left wall. I looked at the ceiling and there were mirrors pointing towards the back wall, the same wall where I had found no exit before. When I checked again, I found the exit.
The mirror house exit took me to a room with a giant window on the other end. Through it I noticed that we were in fact on a massive ship, like a cruise ship. It appeared I was in the control room. I also saw that another giant ship, which I assumed to be identical to the one I was on, was out in front. We appeared to be sailing through bad weather. The sky was dark, the wind was blowing furiously and the water was violently wavy. Then the other ship started to explode, starting from the end furthest from me. I do not know how I knew but the ship I was on was exploding in the same fashion. The feeling I got was that we were somehow in front of a giant mirror and the ship I saw was just the image of the ship I was on, but the timing was different. The other ship started to explode before my ship and indeed, I saw the control room on the other ship explode before the room I was in exploded.
I do not remember the ordering of the next two scenes and indeed they may have occurred simultaneously, just as I was in the room and outside of the room simultaneously. One scene was of me in the ocean and the other was of Rob speaking to me. While I was in the water, I remember hearing someone speaking to me, which suggests that the scenes happened at the same time, but I remember voices that were not Rob’s. It could have been the narrator’s voice from the TV show about ocean life.
In the water, I was taken by some force all around the ocean, sometimes in the water and other times over the water. I do not know how I got into the water. I do not remember the control room exploding so I do not know if I was flung into the water by it or if I somehow teleported or flew down there. Or this could have been another projection type thing, or maybe a vision. Or maybe I died in the explosion and this was my soul or something. Anyways, the force took me all around the ship. I do not remember it being damaged but it could have just been the top that was destroyed. And the ship was impractically large; it was the height of a 15 story building out of the water at least. I was also taken far enough from the ship that I could not see it, which must have been far given the size of it. I believe I also encountered at least one of the giant creatures from the television show. The waves were incredibly turbulent. During the whole trip, time was frozen so I saw all the details of the waves. They looked like dark crystal. The sky was dark grey and the water was a very dark blue. The shapes the waves made looked like thousands of tentacles and claws and teeth.
I do not remember all that Rob said to me but it was something about me having great potential and that I could become something great or do great things, I do not remember which. But from his words I gather that he was not actually allied with the enemy, either that or the enemy was not really my enemy. Either way, Rob was trying to help me I think. But whether this potential he spoke of was the more terrestrial version or if he was implying that I had powers of something I do not know. With the other events in the dream it could go either way.
I do not believe that is where the dream ended but that is the extent of my memories of it. But as I said, I had a sort of continuation of the dream in my nap. It was very short. I was in a dark room. The room was trapezoidal in shape and I was facing the smaller end. On that wall was a black circle I think. I was there to commune with god I think (little ‘g’ because I am rather sure that this is not supposed to be the God I believe in in reality)? I remember feeling very skeptical, thinking nothing was going to happen and this was a waste of time. I was lost in thought, about what I do not remember, when suddenly I realized that I was actually in the middle of a conversation with some being speaking through the dark circle, who I assumed was the god. I do not remember the conversation but I believe it was (obviously) about something of great importance, possibly something I was supposed to do. I was carrying on with the conversation very nonchalantly which I find strange given I was speaking to a god, one that I merely 30 seconds ago did not believe in. After he (it spoke in a masculine voice and the God I believe in is male so this being probably is as well) said what he needed to say, I turned to leave the room. He stopped me and gave me one more task. He told me to discover what he lost for us. By “us” I assume he meant the universe and by “for us” I assume he meant creating us, as if creating the universe rob him of some of his power or something. I remember being concerned about this because I felt my apathy for his loss would offend him. I already assumed that when (if) I discovered his loss I would be apathetic to it. But I also feared knowing what he lost for some reason.
Outside of the room was a bench and a chair. A number of people were already sitting on the bench talking amongst themselves. I sat down on the chair and began to read a book. I do not know where I got the book. By the way, the walls of the hallway were either a dark grey of a greyish red. My memories conflict on this. Anyways, after a while, one of the people on the bench, a male, said something and I jumped in the conversation with a response. I do not remember what he or I said. He responded to my comment and then carried on with his conversation. I eventually butt in again. He had said something about his art not being authentic, or some of his art not being as authentic as his other art. I responded that I thought he was wrong and that his drawing of dragons were more authentic because dragons are not real and so the art was a work of creativity or something. I cannot make any sense of it. Anyways, everyone looked at me like I was strange but also as if they were surprised at how wise I was. It was weird.
I believe this to be a continuation of the first dream simply because the mood and the feeling that it gave me were nearly identical.
