Dream: End of the World IV

I usually don't post when I remember this little, but this one scene was interesting.  I do remember quite a bit of fragmented images from other scenes: driving down a large hill, something about Mr. Curtis, camping out somewhere, etc.  This scene started out in Mr. Curtis's house, however, it was very much not the same.  I had my own room and it was extra large.  My bed was huge as well.  Marc has over the house and I guess I let him take my bed.  Its was in the middle of the day.  I went in my room to get Dad's laptop (I don't know how I got it).  When I turned it on, Dad's programs were still open; I get the feeling that I stole it.  While I was on the computer, for some reason I went outside onto the balcony.  From the balcony, you could see much of the city.  The house was right in the middle of the city.  There were warehouses, stores and interestingly enough, I think there was a military base.  As I was outside, about five spaceships descended the sky.  They were shaped like an elongated hemisphere with the flat end to the bottom.  There were around fifty long cylinders arrayed around the bottom of the ships; they appeared to be weapons.  In the spot were they initially descended, there were what looked like clouds, only they looked honeycombed, like the effect the HAARP has on clouds.  I called for the others to come look and found that Nat and someone else were already outside on the ground watching.  A couple of the ships flew overhead while one remained in front the house.  As it hovered there, the two sides of the ship unfolded to form wings and the array of guns split into three: one for each wing and one for the center.  The ship now resembled a fat fighter jet with a claw-like appendage coming out the bottom.  The claw was being charged or something; it seemed as though it was going to fire.  As it did that, I remembered a dream I had had earlier in the dream (yes I had a dream in a dream), where a spaceship shot the earth and the ground under it for many miles became desolate, like a desert.  As I watched, I thought to myself, "We're going to die now. So this is how it happen."  I thought this but was too impressed at the awesome looking ship to be sad or scared.  The ship flew around for a while, sometimes coming so close to the ground, we thought it would land.  It never fired.  I don't know how the scene ended, but there were other scenes after that one that I don't remember.
