Dream: End of the World II

I can see flashes of many scenes throughout this dream; it seems like a crazy long on, yet I only remember one short scene.  My family, Sheldon and Shevon were with us, were driving home to a house like the one by Piper but the neighborhood was different.  It was much less twisted; it sort of reminded me of the deepside neighborhood except the houses of course were like ours.  The sky was very clear and sunny.  When we were a ways from our house, we saw a huge blue explosion that had an electric feel to it.  Along the way home, we witnessed other small explosions going off in people's homes.  Sometimes we would see it blow through the rough of a room and sometimes it would come from a box in a garage.  They were always blue and always somewhat concentrated.  When it blew through the roof, the hole in the roof would only be about four feet wide and the explosion always went straight up.  It would violently knock back anyone around through, most victims would not survive.  I noticed at some point that the sky was full of dark rain clouds and there was a terrible wind blowing.  You could see the clouds moving extremely fast.  When we got home we were treading softly, wondering if we were next.  They were still going off in our neighbors houses for a while.  Nat surmised that the explosions were coming from water.  Somehow the water was contaminated and through some stimulus would violently explode.  As I looked outside, I could see that the underside of the clouds had a green hue.  I thought that that was the contamination.  I went outside to see more clearly when a large truck drove passed.  It was almost twice the size of most semi's and had many very short trailers, it looked almost like a train.  It had green images and lettering on the trailers, I thought they had come with regards to the contaminants.  When they got out though, they were giving away toys to some children.  I don't remember what it was but I was carrying a big bag towards the house after that but some guy took it from me.  Later we, my family, were driving away with him.  As I looked to the sky I could see a big black sphere in the clouds with static coursing through it.  Every now and then it would let off some of the biggest lightning bolts I have ever seen.  I was kind of worried but Nat told me that we were safe 'cause the explosions only happen wherever the sphere is over.  I asked him if the sphere was over us when all that was going on by us 'cause I didn't notice it and he said that it was.  I then was very relieved but then felt bad that I was happy disaster wasn't happening to me but it was happening to somebody else.  Whatever happened next I don't remember.
